Turkey 'N Taters
Our grain free alternative. While we strongly believe that dogs benefit from grains there are some dogs that have a true grain allergy. For those special dogs we are proud to present Turkey 'n Taters. A wonderful blend of Turkey, roast potatoes, yogurt, pumpkin, spinach, peas, carrots, apples, olive oil, rosemary, garlic and love. Even if your dog doesn't need a grain free alternative they will still love to have Turkey 'n Taters join their rotation of Lucky Dog recipes.

NO ARSENIC IN LUCKY DOG CUISINE RICE RECIPES
Recently the news has been full of stories about Arsenic in rice, not just in dog food but in the food we eat as well.
Here at Lucky Dog we engaged an independent third party lab to test our rice recipes to make sure they were not only fit for our best friends but fit for human consumption as well.
The results are in and there is no trace of arsenic in any of our rice recipes. Great news for Murphy, Molly and your dogs too.

DNA, diet shed light on dog evolution
Dogs evolved from wolves some 11,000 years ago to live and work -- and apparently eat -- alongside humans, according to a new study. Dogs also produce a longer form of the enzyme maltase that is more characteristic of plant-eating animals. "Dogs are different from wolves and don't need a wolflike diet," said evolutionary biologist Robert Wayne, commenting on the significance of the findings
